Yamato`s Steakhouse of Japan in Warsaw

This is our absolute favorite spot for great sushi, great miso soup and great hot sake! After the first time here we fell in love! It’s a weekend ritual for us now! The staff is kind and friendly and they practically feel like family now! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, cheap prices for some of the best sushi in town. <3

This is our first time here, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why this place is not packed full. The filet and shrimp was exquisite, as was the Crab Rangoon. We also for the first time tried sushi, and loved it. All of the dishes had well developed flavours. We will be back soon.

Awesome food! I got the charming roll and edemame. They were both fantastic. I am from Vancouver, WA/Portland, Or area, here for business. I will be back before I leave for home and anytime I'm here for business!! And they gave me several chunks of yummy pineapple at the end, which was a terrific surprise! :-)

I like this place... it’s not a full service “cook in front of you” hibachi restaurant but they don’t charge you like those places either. Because of that I think it is a great place... for the price. Which pretty much is what to expect: Even the sushi may not use real crab but then they don’t charge $15 a roll either. I like their hibachi lunches and dinner. Lunch is a great way to try them out at around $8-10. Not bad for a steak hibachi lunch. So if you want a quick hibachi or sushi fix Yamato is worth a stop. You have a friend that is one of those “this isn’t real” snobs? Take them elsewhere or choose one of your laid back friends... you will have a better time anyway :)

Excellent sushi priced accordingly. Well worth the trip for some excellent food. I would say it's on par with what I've had in Okinawa.

Chicken on a skewer was dry and chicken fried rice had zero vegetables....never had fried rice that was just rice. Disappointed because we've had really good food here.

This is the only sushi place in Warsaw I think, the food is yummy, service is fast. I think they should add an option of adding special sushis for the sushi lunch menu. I tried Charming Tango it was pretty yummy..Also I thought they can add more vibe to this place by playing some soft music because the ambience is already good. There are options for bubble milk tea too if you like. Good place for work lunch or family dining! They serve bento box lunches too.. they have sashimis and a variety of options in rolls.

Always great food! We have been going for years and they have consistently provided a great experience with the best Yum Yum sauce and Crab Rangoon in the State

So, I'll do a mini review (sans pictures). Everything I ordered tasted good. The prices are reasonable. The crab Rangoon was really good ($4 for 4 pieces). The calamari are rings. Good taste, good cook on them. They weren't rubbery ($6 for... 10ish? rings). I liked the eel avocado roll, the wife did not ($5). She had a tiger roll and I had a kiss of fire roll. We both liked those ($10 & $11 per roll).2nd time here; just stopped in because we were in the area. First time I was here, my only complaint was the fried rice was bland. After conferring with the rest of the people at the table, the fried rice is still bland.My wife got chocolate tempura ice cream. She said it was good. I tried it and thought the tempura gave a nice crunch to go with the ice cream. They comped us all fried oreos, which were... fried oreos. Love 'em or hate' em... they are what they are.

Great food. Great for relaxing social atmosphere. Not rushed just relax enjoy the food.

It was good, I had the beef bento box. We were there close to closing so not sure if that was the problem but nothing seemed very hot and it all came very quickly. The black pepper tuna was good, just wanted more.

My family loves this place. The owners are friendly and attentive. They always bring my children an order of fried Oreos even when we don't order it. Needless to say, my kids love the sushi and the noodles. This has become a family staple .

Sushi is good. But not the best. Also, open more hours than any other sushi place in Warsaw. So can't beat that. Good and quick service. Would go again, nothing like tingling the taste buds but definitely a place if u are craving for sushi and can't find a place.

Seated right away. Place was pretty empty at 7pm Wednesday evening. People were nice, although very quiet and didn’t say much. Ordered Pink Lady roll which was very good. “Filet” and shrimp were palatable, although swimming in sauce and obviously precooked and heated. Vegetables were good and fried rice was surprisingly good. They brought out a complementary dessert of fried Oreos which was surprising and very good. Good meal. Can’t say I’d return though.
